Merced Family Kidnapped – The bodies of four Punjabi family members were found in California after they were abducted. Merced County in Northern California police report that a child and his parents have been kidnapped on Monday at a trucking company where they work. The child’s parents are 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur and 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh.

Merced County Sheriff Vern Warnke said the four bodies were found Wednesday evening in an orchard near Indiana Road & Hutchinson Road. Police say a farm worker found the bodies near the orchard before calling the authorities.
According to news agency PTI, Sherrif Warnke said during a press conference Wednesday evening, “There are no words to describe the anger I feel.”

The police released a video showing the moment the family was kidnapped on Wednesday. In the video, Jasdeep and Amandeep are seen walking out of the business tied together. The kidnapper can be seen coming out of the building a few seconds later with the baby and her mother. After leaving the scene, the four members of the family were led into a truck.

A suspect in the kidnapping, 48-year-old Jesus Manuel Salgado, was taken into custody a day after the family was taken. According to police, Salgado attempted to commit suicide. Salgado is currently recovering at a hospital.
According to Sherrif Warnke, Salgado has a special place in hell. In response to a call from Salgado’s family, the Merced County police reported that he had confessed to his crimes. Jasdeep’s parents Dr. Randhir Singh and Kirpal Kaur are natives of Harris Pind village in the Tanda block of Hoshiarpur.
