IPL Team CSK will not release Ravindra Jadeja after intervene of captain ms dhoni
The star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is likely to stay with Chennai Super Kings for the 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League after months of speculation about whether he would stay with them or not after a fallout with the team management due to captaincy duties.
After six months of speculation, Jadeja is staying put after six months of speculation that he would join some other team during the trading window.
The franchise reportedly removed Jadeja from his leadership role halfway through the tournament, which upset him, Before the start of IPL 2022, he was named captain, but after poor results, he lost the position. In response, he deleted all CSK-related posts from his social media accounts, sparking furious speculation.
The deadline for submitting names of players the teams will retain for the IPL 2023 auction is fast approaching, and CSK has decided to hold onto Jadeja.
There are reports that MS Dhoni is hell-bent on keeping the all-rounder with CSK, and he has told the management that Jadeja cannot be released. Jadeja’s influence cannot be replicated by anyone else, especially with CSK playing at home in Chennai. He is an extremely crucial member of the team.
With the Chennai-based franchise, Jadeja has won two titles in 2018 and 2021 since joining the cash-rich league in 2012.
Apart from CSK, Jadeja has also played for the Rajasthan Royals, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, and Gujarat Lions in his IPL career. The 33-year-old has scored 2502 runs in 210 games and taken 132 wickets.
It will be the first time in three years that the IPL returns to its home-and-away format in the 2023 edition.
Moreover, it was reported that CSK is likely to release Chris Jordan and Adam Milne ahead of the 2023 mini-auction. The IPL 2023 auction is expected to take place on December 16.
